Wolfenstein: The New Order (Video Game Review)

Serving as a soft reboot for the series following the commercial failure of Raven Software’s 2009 release, Wolfenstein: The New Order puts a new spin on things. Sergeant William Joseph Blazkowicz finds himself in a nightmare 1960s where the Axis forces have total control over the world. Eventually making contact with the resistance, he sets out on an impossible do-or-die mission to find a way to break the regime’s hold on Europe, and perhaps even turn their own weapons against them.

  1. This looks like it'll be a lot of fun, how long would you say it took a first time playthrough if you weren't for a 100% run?

    1. It's a bit hard to say to be honest, as I was spending a lot of time hunting down secrets and collectibles (the alternate history Beetles albums and "nightmares" easter egg alone are worth the time). At a guess though, nine hours perhaps. Give or take a bit depending upon total number of deaths and failures. Even then, it's well worth at least two playthroughs of the campaign due to some early choices.
